ABOUT THE SITE
The Angel Inn at Grantham, is reputedly Britains's oldest inn still in use. It was Templar property in 1213, when it bore that name, derived from Salutation, or Angelus, as it originally represented the Angel appearing to the Virgin Mary. It is now known as the Angel & Royal Hotel.
